Higgins, Cavanagh & Cooney, LLP is pleased to announce that Attorneys Keriann N. Dengos and William H. Thomas have joined the firm.
Keriann N. Dengos is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Keriann is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law and of the State University of New York at Geneseo, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and dance. Prior to joining HCC, Keriann served as a law clerk for the Honorable Justice Brian P. Stern of the Rhode Island Superior Court Business Calendar. During law school, Keriann worked for Roger Williams Law School’s immigration clinic. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a bankruptcy paralegal at leading New York law firms she coordinated directly with banks and other large financial institutions on issues related to foreclosure and loss mitigation.
William H. Thomas is admitted to practice in Rhode Island. Bill is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law. Before joining HCC, Bill served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court. During law school, Bill served a judicial externship for the Honorable Brian P. Stern of the Providence County Superior Court Business Calendar. He also served as a Student Practitioner with the Roger Williams Law School Business Start-Up Clinic providing legal services on behalf of small businesses in the Rhode Island area.
