Higgins, Cavanagh & Cooney's Insurance practice group has been representing the insurance industry for nearly 50 years. We are involved in all aspects of insurance litigation. This group handles traditional insurance defense matters such as automobile accidents and slip and falls. The firm also handles product liability matters across a wide spectrum of product areas for both insured and self insured clients.

Attorneys in the Insurance practice group also have a long history of handling a wide array of coverage matters. Insurers regularly call upon the firm to litigate coverage disputes involving such things as environmental coverage claims, the duty to defend, bad faith and uninsured motorist.

With the advent of employment practice liability insurance, the firm has been called upon to defend harassment cases based upon age, gender, sexual orientation and disability, as well as, claims for wrongful termination, breach of employment contract and interference with contractual relations.
