Born in Providence, Rhode Island, graduated from Providence College ('64), received J.D. with honors from Suffolk University ('67), where he was an editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. He is a former law clerk to Justice Thomas F. Kelleher of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, and the American Judicature Society. Mr. Walsh's litigation practice focuses on defense of professional liability claims against physicians and attorneys, business liability claims, product liability, as well as extensive practice in construction litigation on behalf of major building companies and suppliers and subcontractors. He is a lecturer on professional responsibility and legal ethics.
